Gratitude

shashankasana

Isn’t it funny how we always tend to dwell on what we don’t have rather than thinking how splendid it is to have what we’ve got?

In class this week we will be doing a ‘bowing’ type of posture – shashankasana.  Moving with the breath we will use the stomach and thigh muscles to bow our head down onto the mat – it’s a great time to think and be thankful for the brilliant things we do have in our lives.

In this way our bodies are sending out a current of gratitude and positive vibrations to the world – the law of attraction says that we only ever attract more of what we send out.  Positive vibes mean positive returns.  On the other hand, if we send out currents of ungratefulness – by dwelling on what we don’t have – we are attracting negativity into our life.
