My Yoga Journey
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and it has profoundly impacted my life. Yoga has helped me maintain physical fitness and mental clarity, and I decided to become a teacher to share this transformative practice with others.
My top 5 reasons to do yoga!
1 Better Breathing – I am slightly asthmatic and sounded rather like Darth Vader when I first started
2 Better Posture – standing and sitting much straighter and taller; no slouching here and no ‘bingo wings’ either
3 More focused – I take each thing in my life in turn now, not all in one great mixed up jumble
4 Less fat around my middle and thighs
5 Brighter and clearer complexion and less wrinkles
6 (bit of a bonus) Warm feet!
Qualifications & Experience
British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Teacher Training: Completed in 2008, providing a strong foundation in yoga teaching.
Yoga Therapy: Trained in therapeutic approaches to yoga, enabling me to offer individualized sessions for various needs.
Continued Professional Development: Regularly attend workshops and training to stay updated with the latest in yoga practice and teaching.

After 3 years of hard study, in March 2014 I was awarded the British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma. A splendid day of reward and recognition was held for my class of new Yoga Teachers to celebrate our achievement. The 500 hour yoga training course is recognised by Sport England. It is considered one of the highest standards for yoga teaching regarding knowledge and safety of practice. The course is extremely thorough and well taught.
My Approach
I believe yoga is for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, my classes are designed to be inclusive and adaptable. I focus on creating a welcoming environment where all students can explore and deepen their practice.
