Your Yoga Journey Starts Here

Many people tell me exactly the same thing…

“I’ve always wanted to try yoga, but I was worried I wouldn’t be flexible enough.”

The truth is that flexibility isn’t a requirement for yoga—it’s something that develops naturally over time.

This course has been carefully designed to help you build confidence one week at a time, learning how your body moves, how your breath supports you, and how simple yoga practices can help you feel stronger, calmer and more comfortable in everyday life.

By the end of the course you’ll understand the foundations of yoga and have the confidence to practice at home or join one of my regular groups.

Is this course for you?

If you’ve been thinking about trying yoga but aren’t sure where to begin, this course has been designed with you in mind. Perhaps you’re noticing that your back feels stiffer than it used to, your joints are less mobile, or stress and busy days are leaving you feeling tired and tense. You may be living with arthritis, axiety, or simply looking for a gentle way to improve your overall health as you age.

Whatever has brought you here, you’ll be welcomed into a small, supportive class where every posture can be adapted to suit your individual needs. There is no expectation that you’ll be flexible or fit before you begin—only a willingness to take the first step.

You can read more about the benefits of a regular yoga practice here.

If you have a medical condition, we can discuss any adaptations before the course begins.

What You’ll Learn

Over eight weeks we’ll gradually build the foundations of a safe and enjoyable yoga practice. You’ll discover how to move with greater ease, improve your posture and understand how your breath can support both your body and your mind.

Each week introduces a new theme, allowing you to develop confidence at a comfortable pace. We’ll explore simple yoga postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and mindfulness, while learning how to adapt each practice to suit your own body. There will also be opportunities to reflect on your progress and develop a short home practice that feels realistic and achievable.

By the end of the course you’ll not only feel more confident stepping into a regular yoga class, but you’ll also have a workbook full of notes and practices that you can return to whenever you need them.

Your Personal Workbook

One of the things that makes this course really useful is that you’ll receive your own beautifully presented workbook to keep. Rather than trying to remember everything from class, you’ll build your own personal guide to yoga week by week.

Each session adds new pages to your folder, including explanations of the postures we’ve practised, breathing exercises, gentle home practices and space for your own reflections. Weekly class videos and other resources on my website will be available so that you can revisit what we’ve covered between classes, helping you build confidence at your own pace.

Long after the course has finished, your workbook will remain a practical resource that you can come back to again and again.

What Should I Bring?

Simply wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.

You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat and a cosy blanket for the relaxations.

A bottle of water and an open mind are also a good idea!

Why Learn With Me?

I’ve been teaching yoga for over fifteen years and specialise in helping people discover that yoga doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating.

My teaching is gentle, practical and welcoming. Every posture can be adapted to suit your body, so you never feel that you have to keep up with anyone else.

My aim is simply to help you feel better—in your body and in your mind.
