A couple of places have become available for my Stress Management workshops this Saturday 5th October. Why not come along to see how yoga can help you with the stresses and strains of modern life? The 2 hour workshop costs £10.
This workshop will give you tools and techniques to use at home to de-stress your body and mind. The first section of the 2 hours will focus on a posture flow – a series of exercises for the body which you will learn and then ‘take home’ in the form of a handy card. We will continue then with the first of 4 techniques taught for relaxation. A short break will be followed by a talk given to help understand why the body feels stress symptoms. You will learn how you can recognise symptoms in yourself and your loved ones. We will conclude with a further 3 techniques designed to help you unwind and truly relax. You can then see which suits you best. A guide of useful resources will be on the reverse of your posture card.
