Online Classes Included

All members of the 90 minute classes have free access to the weekly class recording. This is available within our Members Pages. With regular attendance you will improve your flexibility, strength and posture whilst reducing your stress, anxiety, and weight.

In this way you can “do-yoga” as often as you like. You can do it wherever you like. This is besides your usual class and all under the guidance of the same professional, experienced teacher. Do Yoga Your Way – perfectly flexible to suit your lifestyle.

Cost of classes

All classes are booked in advance in blocks. My traditional 90 minute classes are work out to a very reasonable £11 per week.  The online classes are delivered via Zoom and work out to just £6 per week. I do not offer any ‘drop in’ classes or Pay As You Go. Please contact me by email to check if there’s space in your chosen class. I will book you in and send payment information.

If you miss your usual in-person class, where space allows, you can make it up at a different time/venue. This can be in the same week or different week during the term, just let me know beforehand. Alternatively, you can watch the class recording and practice along at home/on holiday.

Gentle Yoga

These classes are 90 minutes long and are excellent for beginners and people with some experience of yoga. We move at a fairly slow pace. This gives time for modifications, explanations, and the use of props. The pace also allows for stronger students to develop by holding postures for longer. Demonstrations are given and each student’s postural alignment is checked to make sure safe practice.

Yoga for Vitality

These classes are 90 minutes long and are aimed at students who are relatively fit or experienced at yoga. We explore the postures with longer holds and physical challenges. Our pranayama practice will develop a deeper sense of the subtle body. Yogic philosophy and history are woven into the class practices with suggestions and support to develop a personal, daily practice. The pace will assume some knowledge of yoga techniques and a reasonable level of fitness. We will use chanting, and various means of relaxation and meditation.

All venues are warm with wooden floors

Do Yoga! classes are planned in detail beforehand. All students are accommodated with planned modifications. These are for cases where a student may not benefit from the usual exercise. Upon joining, you’ll be invited to complete a health questionnaire to assist in this. Each class builds knowledge and understanding as the weeks and terms progress. In this way students develop an understanding of themselves, their bodies and of the yoga tradition. Individual assistance is offered where appropriate and home practice/reading is encouraged and supported by monthly newsletters and online videos. This produces competent students who are able to develop their own personal practice and yogic lifestyle as they see fit. I also foster a supportive, community spirit. If you would like to join us, you will be most welcome. I and the other group members will be happy to have you with us.

Booking is essential because space is limited. Please arrive 5 minutes before the class starts. You can lay out your mat and take your shoes off during this time. You’ll need to have your own mat, blocks and blanket for health and safety reasons. Please allow extra time before your first class to find the hall and fill out a health questionnaire form.

Zoom Classes

My Zoom classes are thoughtfully designed to give you powerful benefits right from the comfort of home. Postural work is always safest and most effective in an in-person class. However, many other practices truly shine in a home environment.

Head, neck and face yoga are perfect for home practice. You can work with clean hands. This practice gives a sense of ease. Practices like meditation, restorative yoga for anxiety, and Yoga Nidra become more transformative. Experiencing them in your own warm, familiar space enhances their impact.

These online sessions offer you the chance to relax more deeply. You can focus more clearly. Create a nourishing sanctuary for your wellbeing, wherever you are. No experience is necessary — just a quiet space, a comfortable seat and the willingness to pause.

If you’d like to feel calmer, lighter and more connected, join me online and experience the benefits for yourself. I’d love to welcome you to class.
