Over the coming year I’m embarking of a new project to see how yoga affects our healthspan. I’m calling it my Yoga and Healthspan Study. Healthspan is the length of time in one’s life during which an individual is in reasonably good health.
You are invited to join me and take part, assessing for yourself the affect of yoga exercises on your health. I’m focusing on 2 areas in particular – Head, Neck and Face Yoga, and Breathwork and Meditation.
🧘♀️ What’s Involved
You can choose to join one of two free online groups:
- Head, Neck & Face Yoga – Wednesdays at 9:00 am
- Breathwork & Meditation – Wednesdays at 12.45 pm
Classes are 30 minutes via Zoom, once per week.
A third control group (no classes, just assessments) will also be included for comparison.
📅 Study Structure
- Term 1: 6 weeks of classes (November 3rd to December 14th 2025)
- Short break with simple home practice (“homework”)
- Term 2: 8 weeks of classes (January 26th to 28th March 2026)
- Final follow-up assessment at the end of Term 2
Assessments will include a short 10-point wellbeing questionnaire before, mid-way, and after the course. You will also be asked to take photos to track visible changes. They are used only with your permission.
💫 Why Join
