Term 1: Back bending with Integrity and Compassion
- Dive deep into the Yamas (ethical guidelines) to cultivate a peaceful and harmonious life.
- Opening the chest with back bends like Locust pose and Camel pose.
Term 2: Forward bending with Positivity
- Explore the Niyamas to foster balance and contentment.
- Engage in cleansing practices with Sleeping Pigeon and Head to Knee pose.
Term 3: Twisting postures working from Outer to Inner
- Build strength and flexibility working on deep core muscles.
- Learn structural alignment with postures like Revolved Triangle and Universal Twist.
Term 4: Side Bending to Enhance the Breath
- Enjoy more energy and dynamism in your yoga and daily life.
- Explore flowing movements of the Gate pose and Warrior sequence.
Term 5: Balancing with Heightened Concentration
- Cultivate mindfulness and inner calm.
- Use a variety of techniques to find balance in Warrior 3 and Dancer.
Term 6: Arm Balances with Safety and Determination
- Reflect on your journey along the Eightfold Path – employ your inner wisdom.
- Develop strength, concentration and determination with postures like Crane and Side Plank.
